Mental Health & Wellbeing

At LEXi, we believe in the importance of emotional and physical wellbeing. By understanding and addressing indicators in ourselves and others, we can reduce the negative impacts of poor mental health in daily life.

Mental Health Awareness

Creating a safe and supportive workplace is essential and it starts with mental health awareness. Through our Mental Health Awareness programmes we help participants understand and empathise with colleagues facing mental health challenges. Through interactive scenarios and drama-based learning we promote open communication, reduce stigma, and offer practical strategies for support. By fostering a culture of inclusivity and compassion, organisations can increase productivity, job satisfaction, engagement, and overall well-being.

Our sessions consist of interactive exercises, individual reflection, group discussion and case study investiagation. Participants learn practical ways to listen without prejudice, use confident language when discussing mental health and understand the professional support available. We also work in partnership with your organisation to highlight the existing support systems and how they can be accessed and utilised.

Stress Management & Coping Strategies

In addition to improving mental health awareness, LEXi offers sessions exploring how to effectively manage stress and recognise the behaviours that indicate when it is overwhelming. These sessions are tailored to focus on key areas relevant to your organisation, including:

  • Recognising stress indicators and mental health issues in others.
  • Identify and develop healthy coping strategies.
  • Knowing how and when to raise mental health concerns at work.
  • Determining next steps and seeking advice.
  • Implementing reasonable adjustments for support.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and understanding disclosure stages.
  • Managing the situation over the long term.

Virtual Team Dynamics & Mental Health

We understand the complexities of managing teams virtually, acknowledging the extra strain on mental health from isolation, feelings of exclusion and the difficulty of maintaining work-life balance.

In all our mental health offerings effective communication skills are emphasised to encourage openness, empathy and active listening, coupled with practical strategies for managing stressed colleagues.
