Coaching

The value of coaching in the corporate environment is well established, with a significant link between coaching and improved performance. Studies show that 86% of employers see a return on their investment in coaching individuals and teams. Coaching encourages participants to reflect on their practices, attitudes and behaviours, enhancing self-awareness and identifying barriers to professional growth.

At LEXi we offer a range of coaching skills courses for leaders and managers. Our team of experienced, accredited coaches can also lead personalised one-to-one, group, and team coaching sessions. Our coaches are not only fully qualified but also professionally trained actors with expertise in business acting and facilitation. This unique combination provides a transformative experience, blending traditional coaching with personalised feedback and immersive, experiential learning.

One-to-One Coaching

LEXi offers bespoke coaching to support individuals at all levels in achieving their professional goals, such as career development, preparation for promotion or leading through change. Equally coaching can be helpful for employees who are on performance improvement programmes and need focused support to make progress.

Coaches are carefully matched with participants to ensure a good fit and initial chemistry. Initial meetings are conducted to establish whether there is a strong rapport. The focus of any coaching engagement is on fostering growth and alignment with both personal and organisational goals. Coaching sessions are flexible, accommodating participants’ schedules with options for face to face or virtual, and offering flexibility in frequency and duration.

Our coaches at LEXi deliver unique coaching experiences. With a background in acting they can bring challenging situations to life with skill and confidence. Through practising conversations with their coach, participants can develop their communication and influencing skills in a supportive space, receiving honest developmental feedback.

We believe our clients have untapped potential and our goal is to help them develop their existing skills, discover new ones and achieve their goals.

Team Coaching

In team coaching, a coach collaborates with a group of professionals from the same team to drive positive change.

In the same way as one-to-one coaching, the coach supports the team to identify a shared vision (ensuring alignment with key stakeholders), outlining what they collectively want to change and what they need to do to achieve that goal.

The process then moves to the ‘how’ stage and action planning. Strategies might include ways to improve team meetings, team relationships or how to work more collaboratively.

Strategies to work out the ‘what’ and ‘how’ might include using the client’s perspective to understand the client’s expectations for the team coaching process and their desired outcome.

Group Coaching

Group coaching brings together diverse professionals around a shared topic, such as leading through change, transforming organisational culture or rekindling team enthusiasm.

The coach provides space for the participants to identify exactly what they, as individuals, want to change and what they want to take away from the process, recognising the unique context of each participant.

Through paired and group work, the coach supports the group to think about the ‘how’ and create actionable plans for change. In this stage participants have the added value of leveraging the group’s expertise, and sharing best practice from their collective skill sets, experience, and backgrounds.

Group coaching also offers the opportunity to practise new coaching techniques with each other, including goal setting, asking insightful questions, listening techniques, summarising, and offering feedback. Through experiential learning techniques, participants develop their understanding of what good coaching looks, sounds and feels like.
