Assessment & Recruitment

Assessment Centres are a popular method for companies to evaluate how prospective job candidates respond to a series of different situations, tasks and tests. Our skilled Actor Facilitators ensure prospective candidates are challenged equally during your assessment and recruitment process.

Candidates engage directly with our Actor Facilitators in interactive scenarios, where their communication, reactions and problem solving skills are observed. Our Actor Facilitators can play a critical role in the assessment process. They begin with a specific briefed character and scenario, but then flex their responses differently, according to a candidate’s performance, thus ensuring all the candidates are assessed on a level playing field, whilst leaving room for each interaction to form organically.

This method complements a technical interview and provides assessors and recruiters a firsthand opportunity to observe candidates’ interpersonal abilities and how they handle typical workplace conversations. Feedback is not usually given directly to the candidates in these sessions. The Actor Facilitator may be asked to provide specific feedback to the observer, which may be applied against a set of criteria. As specifically trained business actors, our Actor Facilitators provide much more than benchmarking observable behaviour. Their expertise and knowledge are fed into their feedback, supporting employers in making informed decisions about the candidate’s abilities.
