Personal Impact & Influencing

Personal Impact describes the way individuals influence and inspire others through their communication and behaviour. At LEXi, we recognise that developing strong personal impact and influencing skills are critical to enable leaders and managers to be successful in their role and heard in their communities. Our drama-based learning solutions offer a unique and innovative approach to developing Personal Impact. We focus on the importance of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and authentic expression in creating meaningful connections.

Strong influencing skills are crucial for effective leadership, driving impactful collaborations and positive outcomes. At LEXi, our experiential approach makes a lasting impression on participants and inspires individuals to refine their influencing techniques to more successfully engage others with their vision, lead with confidence and negotiate advantageously.

Through carefully crafted, immersive scenarios, participants engage in dynamic exercises that simulate real-life interactions. This experiential methodology encourages participants to explore and refine their communication styles, enhancing their ability to connect with others, create vocal and physical impact and make a lasting impression.

By integrating drama-based techniques with personalised feedback and coaching, we provide a comprehensive learning experience that is both engaging and lasting. Participants will cultivate greater presence, clarity, and confidence in their day to day communication and learn to flex their style in keeping with changing circumstances. Expert feedback from our Actor Facilitators boosts confidence immediately, while building a framework for future reference.

Our work on personal impact offers participants the chance to refine their own style through interactive exercises and presentations, while gaining valuable and memorable insights into the impact they have on others.

Media Training

In these sessions we prepare for dealing with the media, be it for interviews, Public Relations (PR) or crisis management. Whether it’s preparing for television or radio, we support participants to:

  • Utilise relaxation techniques to manage stress and anxiety
  • Communicate confidently and engagingly
  • Understand and adapt body language
  • Prepare for difficult questions
  • Convey their key messages clearly and impactfully

Our aim for media training is that participants will feel more confident and prepared to engage with the media, communicate with impact, and share their stories effectively.
